The modem may be new or previously used. The rented modem must be returned within 30 days after the end of using the service. The purchased modem becomes the property of the customer and does not have to be returned.
Rental modems have a warranty for the entire period of Internet use. Modems purchased have a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. If the modem is found to be malfunctioning, the faulty modem covered by warranty can be replaced free of charge. The warranty of the modem covers its replacement, but does not cover the costs of possible shipments.
